Vermont Style Holiday Cocktails

Bring
some creative spirits to your holiday party with these cocktails presented by Central Vermont’s local distilleries.
Put Another Log on the Fire
from Caledonia Spirits
- 5 oz steaming hot water
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1-½ oz Barr Hill Gin
Stir hot water, butter, and honey until blended. Add Barr Hill Gin and serve in a brandy snifter. Enjoy on a bearskin rug.
Polar Express
from Smugglers’ Notch Distillery
- 2 oz Smugglers’ Notch Rum
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 oz milk
- ½ oz chocolate liqueur
- Whipped cream
- Garnish: grated nuts (cashew or hazelnut) or ground cinnamon
Simmer all ingredients over medium
heat until hot. Pour into a mug, then add whipped cream and garnish.
