The school year is winding down, which means summer is right around the corner. If you’re looking for ideas to keep the kids busy, check out these 5 summer camp programs located around the Burlington area!
Flynn Center for the Performing Arts
The Flynn, located on Main Street in Burlington, is a performing arts center that focuses on diverse and engaging artistic experiences. Offering both in-person and virtual summer camps for kids ages 4-18, The Flynn is a great option no matter what art medium your kids enjoy. The Flynn will be hosting a variety of choices, from a theatre intensive to dance camps to musicals. The cost of tuition is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested cost for those who are able. The Flynn also offers After Camp Care Monday-Thursday for those that need to stay past their 3 PM camp end.

City of Burlington
The City of Burlington offers a wide variety of summer camps for youth through the Burlington Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront website. With 66 options to choose from, you’re sure to find a camp that suits the interests of every one of your children. Some of the options include chess camp, lego camp, pony camp, sailing camp, and plenty of sports camps. Prices for the camps range from $50 to upwards of $350, allowing all families to participate. They also have a Licensed Camp that accepts childcare subsidies, as well as scholarships. All camps are located in different places across Burlington, so be sure to check the location before signing up.

Audubon Vermont: Green Mountain Audubon Center
Audubon Society’s mission is to educate all ages in order to protect wildlife and their habitats. If your children are interested in nature and ecology, the summer camps offered by the Audubon Society may just be for them! With two great options, depending upon the ages of your children, these day camps will allow your child to explore nature and all of its natural wonders from 9 AM to 4 PM over the course of 8 weeks. Preschool Nature Camps offer a variety of options for youth ages 3-5, while the Ecology Day Camp has options for 6-11-year-olds. Please note - for the Summer of 2021, there will be no half-day camps offered.

Williston Recreation and Parks Summer Programs
Williston Recreation and Parks Center is offering a multitude of summer camp options for kids of all ages. The different categories range from sports camps to technology camps to specialty camps, which include options for bakers, chess masters, horse riders, and artists. There are options for kids as young as 4 years old all the way up to 12th graders. Days, times, and locations differ among the camps, so be sure to read the disclosure before registering.
