BCA Center Panel Discussion: Ethical Implications of AI
Designed to connect more deeply with our BCA Center exhibition, "Co-Created: The Artist in the Age of Intelligent Machines," join us for a moderated discussion with a panel of speakers who will explore the moral and social complexities of AI.

As our society increasingly relies on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, how can we understand and articulate the ethical implications of this rapidly developing field? Designed to connect more deeply with Co-Created: The Artist in the Age of Intelligent Machines, join us for a moderated discussion with a panel of speakers who will explore the moral and social complexities of AI. Panelists from the disciplines of philosophy, religion, and literature will begin to unravel AI’s potential benefits and detriments to human society.
The 2023 exhibition year is presented by Mascoma Bank. "Co-Created The Artist in the Age of Intelligent Machines" is sponsored in part by the Maslow Family Foundation, Hula, University of Vermont, College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, and the University of Vermont, Office of the Vice President for Research. Hospitality sponsors, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Farrell Distributing, and Prophecy Wines. Burlington City Arts is supported in part by The Vermont Arts Council & the National Endowment for the Arts.
