Singing and Living in Harmony speaks to the important role that music plays in our own personal life and in our connections with others. This inspirational concert features wonderfully evocative music by Hildegard von Bingen, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ola Gjeilo, Rosephanye Powell, Gwyneth Walker, Elaine Hagenberg and others set to inspirational poetry by the likes of Langston Hughes, Emily Bronte and Leonora Speyer, punctuated by an uplifting gospel tune and other choral favorites. Voted Vermont’s Best Choral Ensemble for each of the past 4 years by readers of SevenDays, Bella Voce consists of 30-35 auditioned singers drawn from five northwestern Vermont counties  and includes music educators, directors of church ensembles, music education majors, and women of all ages who simply enjoy singing.
